DARKLANDS 
Dark and deliciously creepy, this atmospheric film is perfect for horror fans who like their movies with bite and something to think about rather than just lashings of gore. A combination of The Wicker Man cross bred with Rosemary's Baby and finished off with hard edged 90's realism, it features clever use of character development and dialogue to build up tension to a shocking and bloody finale. With a pervading sense of menace and unease throughout, it follows journalist Frazer Truick (Craig Fairbrass) as he investigates the mysterious death of the brother of trainee journalist Rachel Morris (Rowena King). Delving deeper, Truick becomes convinced that the tragedy was murder, committed by a bizarre religious cult. But as the evidence unfolds, things take on a more sinister and potentially lethal significance for the reporter, as he becomes embroiled in devil worship, witchcraft and ultimately human sacrifice!
